Subject:CDRW Problems

Hi,

I recently purchased a Teac CDRW for my A1200 with buffered interface and
IDEFix.

I have found that with my ZIP drive and CDRom attached to the ide interface
in any configuration causes errors on data cd's (But not Audio cd's) I have written. Using
Toolsdeamon also causes these errors.

Now I have tried everything that I can think of to try and solve this
problem but none of the things I have tried have worked. I have tried in no
particular order:

Booting with no SS and then writing a CD produces errors (With Zip drive
attached and cdrom, also with just cdrom and just Zip drive)

Writing a cd without idefix (But with atapi.device and the OS3.9
scsi.device) still causes errors with the other drives attached.

I have tried re-seating all cables.

Any other ideas greatfully recieved.

Cheers

Lewis

"Nothing so crude. He's merely being reduced to a catatonic state."
"Cata - what?"
"The violent assault on his senses will trip a defensive mechanism. His brain will switch off."
"He'll become a zombie, you mean?"
"Temporarily. Long enough for my purposes."
