040 work on lower voltage, 060 *can't* be fried.

Yes, that is correct, *but* he doesn't HAVE a PPC board, when he does,
it's better to take ppc board and 060 board to kvalified technician
to replace chips, he surely don't have proper equipment do it itself,
solder with is not properly grounded and more then 25w strong and bye
bye board.
And one more thing, i don't know english enough to argue with
