Well, yes up to a point - the Amiga's mouse counters are always valid, so the
pointer's position can be updated perfectly in sync with the video system.
On PCs, both PS/2 and serial mice report their positions a certain number of
times a second (30 for serial, typically 80 for PS/2), and these rates can
interfere badly with the screen-refresh rate - giving a jerky appearance.
This can affect EZMouse, and particularly the Punchinello-II, as well as just
PCs.
My point was that serial mice, at 30fps, aren't going to feel smooth whatever
you do to them ;^)
