I find the Screens menu supplied in MCP works well. Clicking a screen's
depth gadget with the right button gives a menu of screens, so you can
go straight to the one you want.

A few programs don't have depth gadgets on their screens, but the great
majority do, and you can escape from the bad ones with L-Amiga-M.

MCP should be installed with caution, but this particular feature seems
to be completely safe. It ought to be in the OS.
