Subject:start + taskbar on public screens ???

Hello amigactive@yahoogroups.com

I mentioned earlier about a start bar / taskbar for the amiga. I like task
bars because you can instantly see what proggy is running, then click and
it maximises. however, the minimise button would have to change on Amigas,
so that it minimises into a taskbar instead of appicon. Now I also like
public screens and i know a lot of amiga users do too. A desktop screen is
useful for e-mail client, browsing, utilities rather then a full blown
public screen, then a separate public screens for your word
pro/spreadsheets etc.

Well, i was thinking a little further on this and how about public screens
with taskbars on them also, so that you can see what proggys are run on
whatever screen you are on. then its simple to just click on the button for
the proggy which can either be brought to the screen you are on, or take
you to the screen the proggy is on. thus no going to top corner to flick
screen randomly or holding down a button. You can see a _all_ proggys
running on system _all_ the time, plus not being restricted to one screen
like windows.
