Subject:Renaming files

Hello All,

What`s the best utility for me to rename files with?

I have roughly 140 files to rename, all with very different names,
name lengths, extentions etc.

What I what to do is (example):

Rename xbcgshshsbahd_12_12.jgp to XXX_1.jpg

of

Rename kkskskd_1.assa to XXX_1.jpg etc

Something that can do this recursively, easy to use (pref. GUI) and
avail. on Aminet would be superb.
