I disagree with regard to the "Home" part. I think there's a clear window
for a £400-500 (maybe less if Eyetech are looking 8^D ) machine, which is
fun and easy to use.
I know PC owners, ordinary folks who "wanted a computer" who are frustrated
with it and scared to do anything in case it messes the system up. They are
often amazed to see things from Amiga cover CDs (e.g. Scala) and are envious
of the way things are easy to set up and use.
Sony seem to be trying to tap this market by providing computer accessories
for the PS2.
