I just got our 3rd £70 BT bill in a row. We're disputing it, but you know
BT....
After reading this months WebUser magazine (issue 1), I did a fair bit of
research. Firstly... who you can't use due to software restrictions etc..
It's Good To Give
NTL World
The Free Internet
Tiny Online
V21
Who it's limited or too expensive to use:
Demon Internet (a real shame they add £20 to give to BT, as they'd be my
first choice otherwise).
Telewest (excellent but you need to be in their area).
4thenet seemed good, but you had to sign up for 12 months. A bit risky if
they're crap.
So after much deliberation and checking out of www.net4nowt.com (for reviews
etc), I decided on Keme.co.uk .£14.99 a month, rang them up and gave
details over the phone (as can't use a secure payment thing with my Amiga
(Ibrowse etc) which was no problem, and was online in half-an-hour. You
sort out your e-mail details on their website, and can even sort out
getting mail through them from other servers (eg madasafish.com in this
case).
Very happy
