You have an old version of installer in your command path. This was
covered in part one of our OS 3.9 Masterclass.
Type "version `which installer`" to see which version is being run. If
it's older than V44, "which installer" will tell you where it is so you
can remove it.
The normal cause it people putting Installer in C:, so it gets loaded in
preference to the newer version that the OS install put in
SYS:Utilities, the normal place for it.
