As others have said, you can use any monospaced font.
Holger deliberately chose to not use MUI for the control panel and it is
supposed to have a minimal footprint, both in terms of screen area and
resources.
However, the MiamiPanel API is public, so anyone could create an
alternate panel, using MUI if they so desired. The fact they haven't
implies that most people agree with the idea of a minimal panel. If you
want a big MUI window, use the main Miami one.
