I bet you run VisualPrefs ?
I had the same problem with the MiamiDX control panel. It looked shite if
you had VisPrefs set to make your Miggy look better in 1:1 screens.
In newer versions of VisualPrefs there is an environment variable you can
set which fixes this, it is something to do with IM_FRAMEBOX method of
frameiclass (according to the docs). Make sure that
Envarc:VisualPrefs/Special has a value that has the bit corresponding to 16
set to 1. That will fix the ugly MiamiDX control panel.
