Subject: | Help! Need to import MSWorks file! |
Hiya peeps!
Got a pretty important/urgent question as it relates to my sisters school
coursework which needs to be handed in tommorow!
She has been using the latest version of MSWorks at school and saved her
work to a floppy disk so that she could do the final bit of tweaking and
improving tonight at home before handing it in. However, she has hit a
huuugeee problem! She has got home and tryed to load the files into her
version of works (4.5 iirc for Win95!) and all she is getting is the raw
text kind of format being loaded in! :-/ (with Square rectangles showing
spaces.. etc)
I have tried several different ways of trying to import it in for her but
nothing has worked so far, so as a last resort I thought I would give it a
try on my Amiga.
What I am wanting to know is, will the various doc datatypes that have been
released recently import these files in so that I can save them as plain
text (from multiview) and give them back to her just to rebold and hilight?
If so, where can I get hold of the datatypes? (whats the name I should look
for on aminet? if they are there?)
Many thanks to anyone that can help her/me out!
