Actually, the gist of the documentation is supposed to be that TitleShadow
should be run AFTER setpatch but BEFORE VisualPrefs. You have taken this to
mean IMMEDIATELY AFTER setpatch, which is not necessarily correct. The .guide
also demonstrates that it doesn't have to be immediately after setpatch (kind
of), like this:
Setpatch
... <-- dots indicating some other startup stuff
Titleshadow
...
VisualPrefs
I assumed that people would know to stick any program asking for "ENV:" after
the system assigns. These days such a large proportion of the remaining Amiga
users are used to this kind of issue, its easy to forget that there are still
beginners out there. I'll make the documentation clearer in the next (almost
ready for release as I speak) version.
