Yam does not report which disk is full. I have 9 partitions on my system
each has at least 100mb of space left on them. Yam is in my Net: partition,
the mails go into my Chache: partition. All incoming mails are exported and
lha'd on a daily basis to my Misc: partition.
I've been able to trace part of the problem down to a hardware conflict with
the Punchello MK II PC mouse adaptor. Currently I'm back to using my Amiga
mouse. I'm still having problems though.
Miami's speed prefs were set to 38,400 by default. To fetch mail from my
server I can now get about a hundred mails with a setting of 19,200 so I'm
slowly cathing up. But I can only delete mails with a setting of 9,600. I
can't delete mails from the server in the same session as downloading them
and am having to do a warm reboot between sessions.
As for the modem it was brought brand new as an early birthday present by
the wife. It appears to be a genric Rockwell chip set modem. Despite having
all packaging and bumph I've been unable to determine the manufacture . The
warranty sticker is on the outside of the cardboard box!!!!!!!.
