o.k. here is some stuff I would like you to try. I use 'AmiGod' to test
the actual speed on my workbench so try this setting as see if you get the
speedup I did.

First, you can get 'slightly' better performance by running certain programs
in a certain order. In your startup-sequence try this...

1) Run RemApollo on the first line of your s-s
2) Put 'FastExec' on the line before SetPatch with no reboot option.
3) Put 'OpenOxyPPort' on the line after Setpatch,
4) Run other patches after these but I would disable most of the ones you
listed.
5) Remove VisualPrefs if you use it.

I found that speeds varied as you enabled and disabled patches. The most
noticable were the once that patch multitasking like 'Quantum' because they
use a lot of CPU time. Personally, I would remove the patches you listed
because they probably slow do graphics output.

Have a fiddle. 'AmiGod' does show obvious speed-ups and slow-downs when you
change your settings so I would try experimenting with different patches
and enable the ones that you 'really' need.

Regards

Nick
