There`s a couple of things I can think of..
1. It must be a SCSI command,so I assume it`ll be documented
somewhere(I`ll check my RKM hardware stuff tonight)
2. How would you know the drive(s) aren`t being written to when you issue
the powerdown command?
3. Don`t assume that the HD is on scsi.device..you`ll have to check to
see what volumes are mounted and then from that find out what device
they use.
4. This will come in bloody handy for my latest ongoing project. It`s a
simple PIC circuit that connects to joyport2 and the MMKB thing from aminet,
which controls an ATX PSU that powers the 1200, so it can do software power
off and also on/off from a PC keyboard!
