It wouldn't mean handing over Opus5, just giving access to parts of the
source, subject to the usual safeguards.

Why not. If a bug annoys someone sufficiently and they have the ability
to fix it, it's in their own interests. That the rest of the users also
get the bug fixed is a bonus.

Greg, several times :) But that's not relevant anyway. Neil was only
suggesting that someone be able to work with the source code, not that
they get any rights to it.
