As you were good enough to help with my monitor I've spent a while looking
on the net.

The only place I found the actual program he meant mentioned with a quick
Google search was the site for Sound On Sound http://www.sospubs.co.uk/ in
a (1995?) survey of music software for all platforms. The distributor was
"Zone":

ZONE DISTRIBUTION, Unit 6/70, Eurolink Business Centre, 49 Effra Road,
London SW2 1BZ 071 738 5444

He could try contacting them but it's a long shot - SOS also have forums
where he could post a plea, if SoS is still going?

There ARE 2 MT32 editors on Aminet in one archive: io_mt32.lha
.. and some other universal editors mentioning MT32 ..

http://www.software-technology.com/cgi-bin/products.pl?products=amigams
(CMPanion MT32 editor/librarian)

http://www.squest.com./Amiga/index.html
(Universal MIDI editor/librarian etc. Midi Quest)

If floppies have been damaged there's damaged and DAMAGED, you can sometimes
get working disks with perseverance (as oddly I mentioned to you in e-mail
earlier). I'd make a copy with a Sync/nibble mode copier and use anything
to try and fix this (e.g. Fixdisk, DiskSalv...). If he's desperate he can
even send me a nibble-copied disk and I can try, I've got lots of spare
time. Let me know if you want my contact details by private mail.

Regards
