Just thought I'd pipe in - you could alternatively look out for a 2nd hand
CBM 1942/50/60 or M1438/S monitor, no need for a scandoubler then. I've
just got a M1438S and I (finally) sorted out good drivers so get DblPAL
704x550 absolutely no flicker, Super72 800x600 with VERY slight "shimmer"
with plain old AGA chipset. Obviously interlaced modes will not be
"flicker-fixed" though.
