Are you using PFSformat to format the drive?If you are,try just
using the Format command in Dopus(you`re a Dopus user,aren`t you)
I too had PFSformat stop/freeze my machine when I tried to
reformat a partition that had physical disk errors.Using Dopus
Format worked fine(If it hadn`t,I wouldn`t be writing this mail:))
When you select a PFS partition under Format,Dopus knows
what filesystem it`s using,so greys out everything apart from
`put Trashcan` and `verify`.I`d suggest leaving `verify` on.
Give it a try,
