>From what I've read it's unlikely that this will work as DVD video output is sent with a red stripe across it that is a frequency invisible to human eyes, but which can be detected by video inputs as a copy protection mechanism. However, I've not actually connected a DVD player to VCR and tried it (nor to a video grabber for that matter) so if anyone with more practical knowledge can probably correct me on this if I'm wrong.
