hi,
> >From what I've read it's unlikely that this will work as DVD video output is sent with a red stripe across it that is a frequency invisible to human eyes, but which can be detected by video inputs as a copy protection mechanism. However, I've not actually connected a DVD player to VCR and tried it (nor to a video grabber for that matter) so if anyone with more practical knowledge can probably correct me on this if I'm wrong.
thats why you pay 20 quid to get a small box that stops that stupid
behaviour.
its really annoying....first they regionalise DVDs (when are they going to
be taken to court for that? I'm sure the EU could do them for unfair
trade) then they stick all these silly extra
gizmos...pointless...especially when real pirates can do direct DVD copies
in the far east anyway! :-|
