DarkSeed - definitely. Can't get very far and it's frustrating, but scary -
yes!
If you haven't tried it, you've missed out. Wouldn't part with mine, but
someone might be persuaded.

Another World, considering it's age, is brilliant. Another game where I
can't
get as far as my lad can.:-(

Scary? No. And the end was disappointing. I expected something better than
that.
Others to mention:
Beneath a Steel Sky - particularly when you think it's you who's going to be
shot and it isn't. Went around with a frown for ages trying to work out
why.
Zombie Massacre II - on a coverdisk - was the first "horror" one I played.
Very tame now.
Knights - also from a coverdisk - the Zombies always got me just before I
finished the quest!
Robinson's Requiem - only just started this one. Not sure where to go, but
everytime I go into the cave where I can't see - I end up dying - by what
or whom I can't fathom out.
Totally agree with Silent Hill for Playstation, tho. It really builts the
tension, and you can't see far enough ahead.
Mind you, the first time I played the Nightmare Creatures demo had me
leaping two feet in the air!
Regards
Liz
