I've been trying this with the "Vidi Amiga (12)" from ROMBO.(hard&soft)
The problem is, that even if your VCR's still-picture looks steady, it isn't!
It's possible to catch a picture with only a few distorted lines.
Trying several times, you'll end up with those lines in the top/bottom of
the picture.
If you can afford a video with _Digital Pause_, you'll have no problems.
P.S. My pictures weren't blurry, as stated by Don.
