The 1200 motherboard is needed for more than AGA. How long would it take
to produce such a card anyway? New AGA chips would have to be designed.
4.2 would be ready before then, removing the need for the A1200 board.
If you need to have the A1200 custom chips, CIAs etc. there is already a
suitable expansion card, the 1200 motherboard.
Remember that Eyetech are making the bare AmigaONE board. It's up to
dealers, including Eyetech's retail division, how they market and
package it. Expect to see dealers offering complete machines, including
the A1200 parts needed.
