This was the question, really. If not too long I'd say "go ahead", otherwise
I take your point (see below).

My worry was the perception (general, non-Amiga Joes) of a "new machine"
relying on a circa 1992 motherboard, and inherent ridicule attached. I agree

this issue could be limited with good marketing. Of course, should the A1
peform blindingly anyhow and provide an excellent alternative to the Apple
then does it really matter what's in the box? (If you're an Amigan, no; if
you're a discussion group troll probably yes; Joe Public, ?)
