No one is. The Matay approach, and the Elbox SharkPPC, use an existing
card with specially written software.

But people weren't even discussing the merits or demrits of Amithlon in
here, only the wording of one phrase of the release.

There's more to this than someone coming up with a neat x86 emulator.
That's been done before, with varying degrees of success. What is
significant about Amithlon is that it has been adopted by Amiga.

Yes, but the announcements were made at the weekend, and there's been
almost zero interest in here.

There was nothing exciting about the AmigaONE, but the report of real
progress towards a release product is more than Amiga users have come to
expect :(

On Sunday, Bill announced it would be release don November 1st, a slip
of several weeks from the previous statements by Eyetech. I'm surprised
that received less comment, although Eyetech have now stated it won't be
that late and they are sticking to their previous estimates.
