Because OS 4.0 needs more than a Zico machine, it needs access to the
A1200 motherboard too. 4.2 will be independednt of the A1200 and should
run on Zico.

If you want to be pedantic, Amiga never made any CPUs, Motorola made
them. But that's hardly a useful comment and adds no more to the
discussion than yours. If you meant Amiga never make an 060 computer
then you should have said that. People who live in glass houses and all
that. It's moot anyway, Amiga did make an 060 model, the A4000T.

I think it will be somewhat different, because it's aimed at a different
type of user. Amithlon will mainly run productivity software, not
games. I think it's main contribution will be to help raise Amiga's
profile, and generate some revenue to put towards OS 4.2 development.

The statement about what was now working, how far they had actually
progressed was new. But no, there wasn't a great deal of new
information.
