One interesting aspect of the Amithlon is that it is exactly what Jim
Collas announced at Gateway - Amiga running on top of Linux.
Now that it has actually been done, it seems to be much neater than it
seemed at the time. But there is the same outcry from those who are
fixated on the PPC processor.
Unanswered questions
1. which CPUs can be used on the BoXeR ?
2. How fast is the 68k emulator in AmigaOS 4.0 ?
3. Will there be a full software AGA emulation in AmigaOS 4.2 ?
4. What percentage of the 400 million PC users might install Amithlon?
5. What percentage of those would register or buy software such as
Image Engineer or MiamiDx?
6. How does this number compare with the likely number of AmigaOne users?
