Subject:Screen Centering

Hello all,

I run WB in 704x546 DblPal resolution, and so I have my overscan prefs set to that.
(AGA - no Gfx card)

When I use a picture viewer (and it doesn't seem to matter which) that opens a
picture in a "standard" screen width (640), and if I have that screen
centered, I get a weird effect. The left hand edge of the image is copied (not
wrapped) to the extreme right of the screen. I don't get this effect if the
screen is not centered, nor do I get it with centered screens that are less than
or greater than 640 pixels wide.

What's causing it, and is there a cure (other than to turn centering off)?

All the best

Steve

I was there at the dawn of the third age of mankind. It began in the earth
year 2257 with the founding of the last of the Babylon stations, located
deep in neutral space. It was a port of call for refugess, smugglers,
businessmen, diplomats and travellers from hundred worlds. It could be a
dangerous place, but we accepted the risk because Babylon 5 was our last
best hope for peace. Under the leadership of its final commander, Babylon 5
was a dream given form. A dream of a galaxy without war, when species from
different worlds could live side by side, in mutual respect. A dream that
was endagered as never before by the arrival of one man on a mission of
destruction. Babylon 5 was the last of the Babylon5 stations.
This is its story...
