I've got the said interface with the Plextor Burn-Proof drive, and I get
about 6x constant when I'm using an image file, or if I fiddle with the
priorities, it reports 9x or 10x in bursts. Don't know how much it is on
average, but it's slightly faster than 6x I reckon...
