Subject:The Feeble Files

Hello, Amiga users

It seems that some news has not yet reached Amiga gamers about the
possibility that The Feeble Files, an unofficial sequel to Simon The
Sorcerer II might be ported to the Amiga. Epic Interactive are attempting
to gain 400 pre-orders, which will allow the British development led by Paul
Burkey to go ahead with the Amiga conversion.

The Feeble Files
Thomas Steiding of Epic Interactive sent these details out to give gamers an
idea of what The Feeble Files is all about.

Q: What exactly is The Feeble Files?

A: The Feeble Files are Adventuresofts unofficial sequel to Simon The
Sorcerer II. You play Feeble, a green grenelon, who lives in a highly
oppressive society that is ruled by the Omnibrain. Feeble lives a normal
life and tries not to break any company rules (because he enjoys his
personality as it is and does not want a restructuring). One fine day his
life as a normal citizen comes to an end and he stumbles into a rebellion
against the system. As you can see from the screenshots on our website the
character graphics have been fully rendered. The game comes with full
speech. The English soundtrack has been recorded with Robert Llewellyn (from
Red Dwarf) in the role of Feeble. More information and screenshots from the
Mac version can be found on our homepage.

Q: What sort of Amiga will I need for The Feeble Files?

A: You will need an Amiga with a 4 MByte gfx board (like Picasso IV,
C/BVision, Voodoo III) and 32 MByte Ram. Further on you will need a 68060 OR
a PPC CPU. Theoretically the game could run on a 68040/40 but due to the
long movie sequences it will certainly be very very slow.

Q: When will it be available?

A: As soon as we have received 400 pre-orders we will start with the port of
this cool adventure classic. The porting will be done by our British
development team headed by Paul Burkey. We expect that you will be able to
play The Feeble Files on your Amiga about 6 weeks after we started porting it.

Q: Can we expect even more ports from E.p.i.c. Interactive Entertainment?

A: Theoretically it will be possible to port more of the games we ported to
the Apple Mac also to the Amiga. But license fees for games like the
Settlers clone Knights & Merchants or the RPG mix Gorky 17 will be even
higher, which means we will need to sell even more units. In other words: If
we do not receive 400 pre-orders for The Feeble Files we do not even have to
think about other ports.

So, if you want a version for your machine, hurry up and place your
pre-order (no payment needs to be made until the game arrives at your door).
You can place your orders with us (order@epic-interactive.com) or other
dealers that participate in this pre-order campaign (f.e.
http://www.Kdh-datentechnik.com or http://www.amigagames.co.uk).

We will continue this pre-order campaign until 12.8.2001. If by then we do
not reach the magic number, we cannot do an Amiga version of this cool
adventure.

P.S. Only another 70 pre-orders are required
