You cannot evaluate products in such a one dimensional way as degrees
of good or bad. That's why I don't like score boxes on reviews, most
products are far too complex to bring down to a simple mark out of 5, 10
or 100.

You need to read the review and decide how suitable the product is for
*your* needs and *your* situation. The review pointed out that for the
majority of Amiga owners, this drive wold be something of a waste of
money as you wouldn't be able to use it to its full potential.

I cold have connected it to my PC and seen how it worked on that IDE
interface, but then people would complain about reviewing products in
PC in an Amiga magazine, and I've already been called a "PC Lamer" on
one Amiga mailing list this week :(

The fact that you are porting this at all means you were able to
distinguish between comments on the product and the context. So you
should be thanking me for not patronising you by reducing the review to
a string of monosyllabic adjectives :)

Cheers

Neil
