I can certainly agree with this.

Sure, but I don't see how that is a factor? There is nothing wrong with
buying hardware that you can't get everything from at the moment, when you
do decide to upgrade to something faster, it will just be all the more
usefull. Aren't most amiga users at the moment using IDE drives that they
aren't even getting 33% of the performance out of, especially with the a1.2k
and a4k IDE bus? As far as buying a cd-writer, I'd say you should always
buy the fastest you can get, somehow doesn't seem smart to buy a 4x writer,
just because your current machine can't handle more speed atm, you can
always just use it as a 4x writer. As for the comment in the review about a
SCSI equipped version of the writer, I can see Plextors point, the current
ATA-100 specification is fast enough and cheap enough to bury SCSI die in
the home and workstation pc, except for the die-hard power user, which is
probably not enough market share for them to bother with.

Now, why I would someone call you a PC Lamer, and what exactly is a PC
Lamer, 95% of the current computer owning population, many of which are
amigans as well? :)

The review wasn't bad at all, I just thinks it's wrong to put a device down
because it's too fast :)
