I've just looked at Yamaha's site. They didn't have BurnProof on their
16X drive, but their new 20X drive has a similar technology. And to save
the arguing over whether you should have an IDE or SCSI version, it's
got both in the one box :)

However it uses CLV for speeds about 10X, so it's not as fast as a 20X
CAV drive, Plextor's latest is 24X CAV. God knows what 24X discs cost
now :-O
