Yep, had this question before, from me.
I've insetred a 2nd simm socket myself.
I have an Apollo 1260LC75 board. This is obviously different than
non LC versions.
My cpu is mounted on an additional board which then plugs into the
'normal' cpu socket.
I fitted a socket which holds the sim at a 45degree angle. I mounted
the socket so that the simm would point away from the cpu socket.
Are some of you saying that your socket holds the simm so it
points towards the cpu socket?
My arrangement works OK.
I have a 32 meg in one socket and a 16 meg in the other socket.
I'm on the lookout for a cheap 32 meg simm. My 16 meg simm cost
me £12 for twoat a computer fair, they wouldn't sell them singly.
He didn't have any 32 meg simms with him, if he had they would
have been £30 for two.
NB all the simms are Fast Page Mode, std and EDO simms do not always
work

Cheers
