AFAIK the EZ mouse or the Punchinello work along ver similar lines and the new
PC mouse should be completely functional. However not every Mouse is completely
compatible but most should be. Middle mouse button works perfectly. I just had
to turn the sensitiveness down as with my trackball the curser was flying all
over the screen at first. With regards compatibilty I know Logitech's work well.
A god I dea might be to find out wich mouse you want to get and ask if someone
has it. Or If you get the mouse from somewhere like PC World they should let you
exchange it. Don't worry too much about incompatibilities tho as there aren't
many that don't work completely.

Regards
