The email body doesnt read
Hi! How are you?
I send you this file in order to have your advice
See you later. Thanks
does it? If so then you're friends have been infecting themselves with
a virus that emails out random word documents from their computer,
congratulate your PC owning friends for their intelligence :)
Anyway if it is no need to worry, it doesnt affect Amigas, and if it
isn't, well you could just tell them to email it back to you in text
or RTF format

Check Aminet there might be something

Could be the virus code at the start of the file screwing it up (are
the filenames .doc.pif?) I've been meaning to write a small program
to remove the code from the top of the file so I can load them up on
my PC (so I can read everyones private files :) but I cant be
bothered really,
See ya :)
