Not very different... the major differences are the libraries used, at a
fairly high level. The rest is all interrupt catching, and directly reading
and writing to a specific area of memory.

In fact, one of elbox's biggest complaints is that they produce the source
code for their cards, and everyone else reverse-engineers it. They clain
that a lot of code is exactly the same in the elbox voodoo drivers, as well
as in the G-Rex and Prometheus voodoo drivers.

What is strange, and does back that claim up is that there are no drivers
available on any other card, which isn't available for the Mediator. The
only exception to this are the Warp3D drivers, which will be available
shortly, and were written by a third party.
