Very innacurately :-) I had just got online, found the joy of Back2Roots and
was trying to get anything that didn't work "out of the box" with UAE
0.8.1something (6?). Have now got 0.8.17 to try. I think I ran with 1/2 Mb
chip, 1/2 Mb fast, custom lo-res screen 16->64 cols, 8 bit (awful) sound. I
used UAEWb and ramped the CPU bar to the right with FastBlit (?) option. I
seem to remember getting reports of 50%-80% when more or less idling and
30%-40% when on, say, bootloader screen. I assumed the X3-4 speedup of an
'060 would equate to near 100% speed with, say, 64 cols (enough for up to
ExHBrite game screen).
FWIW I found most speedup gain by use of such things as a ROM kicker
(RemApollo) and fast-chunky replacement (BlazeWCP).
Out of interest I will have a tinker around now.
