err, not quite. its a phrase which cannot fit/contradictory (and nothing
to do with the word moron ;-) ).... 'upgrading an Amiga to a PC' hmmm
;-)

nothing? ;-)
what i cant understand is people (and no, i'm not talking about you, its
just a general observation of the past years) complain about the cost of x
or x on Amiga....and we're talking sums of maybe a few hundred
pounds...and then will spool on about how they're buying some 1 grand PC
system. If only that money were spent in the Amiga marketplace.

my BlizzardPPC 240 with the BVision is pretty close to a PII-450 system
overall (in fact, response wise its faster, but thats AmigaOS for you).
I *know* that if I installed a PCI BUSBoard and a my voodoo3 PCI it'd be
just that little bit better but I'm waiting, perhaps for AmigaONE.
the only downside of my system (well, apart from the low-level stuff like
low memory bandwidth, limited gfx-card bandwidth, no L2 cache) is the
disk-access speeds.

nope. I'm one of *those* Amiga people who dont have a PC. I use PC's all
bloody day long, a cant wait to get away from the damn things ;-)
