I can't remember the settings I used, but I was trying to emulate a
vanilla A500. I'd have probably used something like 512k chip, 0 fast,
0 rtg. KS1.3 ROM, 68000, adjustable emulation speed, full screen OCS
display, no sound, no harddrives.

I don't think I had a graphics card when I tried it, and I think it
was a fairly old version of UAE (before 0.8.x, maybe even 0.6.x). I
would have been using BlazeWCP, CopyMemquicker, FBlit and ROM remapped
to fastram using the Blizzard's jumper.

If it is supposed to be faster than that, I might go and give it
another try with a more up to date version of UAE. I've also got a
graphics card now, so slow chipmem speeds shouldn't be a problem.
