"Government urged to defend Microsoft users" - no, its not a headline
from some glorious future day when they are an unsupported minority
computer group - as we Amigans currently are (and no, we dont get ANY
support from high places :-( )

no, this is a headline from ComputerWeekly - apparently IT people want
Microsoft taken up on their new licencing laws. I, for one, wished it was
the government being forced to defend their reasons for wasting millions
of pounds of tax payers money on MS software... however I cant see the
point of their current argument...MS are one of the only large-scale
companies that HAVENT got rolling licence fees - hands up all those people
that have to get new licences yearly for their proprietary
software/support. Perhaps this new system will actually be the wake-up
call that people need.

Perhaps AmigaOne and the AmigaDE will come in at the right time - and not
make a pigs ear of things
