I have My P.C phone and amiga connected to the phone
socket, the P.C will dial up OK and the cable from the
modem to the phone socket is fine, Ive tested it on
the P.C. When I try to dial the modem makes a click
noise and then a long buzz while it trys to find a
dial tone then it stops. The modem is a USR sportster
14.4 sportster, the PSU I'm using is one of those
generic ones you get for a couple of quid (Has plenty
of power tho' its 1.2A and goes up to 15V), I noticed
the modem does the same no matter what the polarity of
the input, is this OK??
Goin mad
