Unless you are buying an <133Mhz PC you won't find one for less than £50.
Why do you *have* to use Word? You can read files written in Word and with
a decent printer/word processing package you can produce some spectacular
documents with an Amiga.
The PC market is moving soo fast that anything you use now will be outdated
in 6 months and the software will require you to upgrade your PC.

It's never the same thing tho. :-/ The fun with having an actual Amiga is
knowing that you can improve it and customise it. Using a PC to emulate
one is just like trying to emulate a Spectrum/C64 on an Amiga, it's just
not the same.
Come to the WOA-se show and have a look at some of the systems there. There
will hopefully be two systems that might just catch your eye (i.e. mine and
Sams) running graphics cards, Soundblaters cards, ethernet cards, and even
TV cards! Anyone who thinks that an Amiga is just a 256 colour games
machine is in for a shock!
