Subject:"Windows ME Doesn't Crash" [OT]

This completely off topic, so I hope you'll forgive me.
I'm in work at the moment & have just spoken with a customer who said
something I wasn't ready for.

To cut a long story short, he was looking to set up an internet caf in
Edinburgh. He was a tad uninformed and in my opinion the last thing this guy
should be doing is trying to run an internet related business. But I
digress.

He was talking about hackers and said numerous things which were ludicrous
but the best was when he told me he had been hacked. He was trying to
download a screensaver (I think! He didn't call it that:) when his PC "Went
all funny & I had to switch it off & on."

I told he probably hadn't been hacked & his PC had probably just crashed.
His response will stay with me for a long time:

"Oh no, no, no. My PC can't crash. It's Windows ME. The chap in the shop
told me to get it because it's the newest one and *can't* crash."

I almost fell off my chair.
