| Subject: | Amiga M1438S connectors |
HELLO!,
I have got hold of an Amiga branded M1438S monitor sans Amiga style RGB
connector. The chap I got it from says he replaced the Amiga connector with
a VGA type - however looking at the manual the diagram therein looks
mightily like a 15-pin VGA type. Did the original have the 23-pin connector
or come with a converter lead?
Following on from this would you recommend resoldering the VGA type with the
23-pin from the present Philips 8833 lead or sourcing an Amiga 23-pin to
VGA lead?
I don't want to "Aaaah ... I know I'll just ... BANG! ... oh bugger" it!
