Would you rather we all jumped for joy shouting "Great, another
Amiga product ANNOUNCEMENT" ?

No, we're saving ourselves for the next Amiga product LAUNCH.

You would probably have a much lower opinion of Amiga users if they
were so easily satisfied.

What is the point of having groups like this one if we can't
have a free discussion ? - that's going to mean speculation,
pedantry etc etc.

There's a difference between an email and a press release. If you
say something important in an email but refuse to put it in a press
release it sounds like you can't back it up.

You guys say it yourselves, "only believe it if it comes from Amiga"
so when we hear news filtering out from some ML, newsgroup or web
site, we all want to see it on the Amiga web site so we know if
it's true or not.

I read the release, digested it. There is no "standard Amiga 060
chipset". Sorry, I forgot, I should be jumping for joy...

The customer is always right.

There will always be speculation and rumour. It's a fact.
Don't ever expect to be able to dampen down the flames Gary,
you'll only wind yourself up.
