Ummm... I'm going to reluctantly own up to having one.. ;-)
The one I have is the CU Amiga build-it-yourself jobbie, which I did.
The problems you are having are that it won't learn/recognise/transmit
the codes from your remote, right? The thing is damn picky about what
it will work with and what it won't - I tried a couple of remotes
until I found one that worked with Airlink (from my Sony Camcorder)
