Subject: | A3640 in an A3000 question |
Hi there,
I just picked up an A3640 for my A3000D. I went to install it last night, I
set the jumpers as per the documentation (J100: 3-4, J102: 2-3, J103: 1-2,
J104: 2-3), and installed the board itself. When I went and powered up my
A3000, nothing happened. The power light came on but nothing else, no
floppy or HD activity at all. Is this related to the Ramsey-04 and DMAC-02?
Or is it something else. After setting the jumpers back to their original
positions, and removing the A3640, my A3000 started up fine, except for the
datatypes problem I asked about in my other message (That occurred before
trying the A3640).
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Darin.
